The mission of the Association of Computer Technology Educators of Maine (ACTEM) is to enhance and influence education in Maine through the use of technology. ACTEM, an independent, dynamic professional organization, strongly influences quality teaching and learning through the effective use of technology. The organization supports its members by providing relevant professional development opportunities and resources, aiding schools with state and local education technology initiatives, and functioning as a purchasing consortium. ACTEM further helps its members leverage new and existing technologies to meet educational goals by facilitating communications among educators, technology leaders, vendors, policy makers, and educational visionaries. Additionally, ACTEM advocates for its members as a proactive voice in state and national discussions on education technology policy and initiatives. ENA and CatchOn are corporate partner of ACTEM.
